What is the history of microphones? What are the classifications of microphones?
The history of microphone can be traced back to the end of the 19th century. Alexander Graham Bell and other scientists are committed to finding a better way to pick up sound to improve the latest invention at that time - telephone. During this period, they invented liquid microphone and carbon particle microphone. The effect of these microphones is not ideal, but they can barely be used. In 1949, winniburst Laboratory (the predecessor of Sennheiser) developed MD4 microphone, which can effectively suppress sound feedback and reduce background noise in noisy environment. This is the world's first noise reduction microphone that suppresses feedback. In 1961, Sennheiser introduced mk102 and mk103 microphones at the Industrial Expo in Hanover, Germany.
